Kenneth R. Williams has been City Manager of the City of Diboll
since July 2006. Prior to that Kenneth was Assistant City Manager of
Administrative Services for the City of Lufkin. Kenneth began
employment with the City of Lufkin in 1988 and accepted the position
as Director of Public Works in 1997 before becoming an Assistant
City Manager. He is a native of Angelina County and a graduate of
Angelina College with an Associate of Science in Business Degree and
Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Business
Administration Degree. Mr. Williams was a member of the City of
Lufkin's Administrative Staff from 2000-2006.
Professional Memberships: Texas City Managers Association,
Texas Municipal League, American Public Works Association,
International Association of Emergency Managers, Solid Waste
Association of North America, American Water Works Association and
the American Association of Code Enforcement.

Industries (Board Member) Angelina Counties Cities Health District
(Board Member), Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber of Commerce (Past

Lufkin Independent School District (Past Tri-Ethnic Committee

Awards Received: Pinnacle Award 2004-Citizens Chamber of
Commerce, Golden Anvil Award 1998 – Lufkin/Angelina County Chamber
of Commerce, Community Development Employee of the Year 1996, and
Delta’s Distinguished Service Award in Community Achievement 1995.
The City Manager is responsible for the administration, coordination
and operations of the City of Diboll. Departments include Police,
Fire, Streets, Water/Sewer, Wastewater Treatment, Inspections,
Parks, Municipal Court, Civic Center, Golf Course and Emergency
